FODMAP
Managing IBS with FODMAPs
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a disorder affecting the gastrointestinal system that is fairly common among Canadians. One method of treatment is through the identification of food triggers, including FODMAPs (fermentable carbohydrates). With the help of a dietitian triggers can be better identified, improving symptom management. See educational handouts and ingredient details below.
We encourage you to contact SNAP with any of your questions, comments or concerns. SNAP will be happy to answer your question(s) or direct you to a Hospitality Services Manager or Chef. Further information can be provided by your on-campus dietitian.
